As of October 1, 2011, Total Wellness Medical Corporation will be combining practices with Dr. Marcela Dominguez at Complete Care Family Medicine. Our new office address will be 27405 Puerta Real, Suite 200, Mission Viejo, 92691. The new phone number is 949-273-6663.

Dr. Cheryl Thomas

Dr. Thomas was born, educated, and completed her medical degree in Tennessee. Her Family Practice residency training was completed at San Bernardino County Medical Center, and, upon obtaining her Family Practice Board certification, began practicing in Orange County. Frustrated with the large practice model, she opened her own solo practice and titled it “Total Wellness Medical Corporation” in order to reflect her belief in guiding her patients to obtain wellness through lifestyle modification and natural product supplementation rather than relying on prescription medications.

Focus of Practice:

Dr. Thomas has extensively studied integrative and functional medicine and has completed her certification in Functional Medicine through The Institute For Functional Medicine. She believes in achieving better physiologic balance in the body in order to eliminate the cause of symptoms rather than just giving medication to mask the symptoms. Total Wellness offers numerous evaluation and treatment methods including “First Line Therapy” lifestyle education and management; massage therapy, infrared sauna detoxification, and Biomeridian assessments.

Personal Interests:

Dr. Thomas has always enjoyed many outdoor activities including tennis, golf, hiking, skiing, organic gardening, and landscaping.
